I am Senior Pastor at Browntown Church of God of Prophecy, volunteer Chaplain at the Dekalb Baptist Medical Hospital, District Coordinator of seven churches and two Spanish Ministries in North Alabama, and serve on the church Vision Team Committee for the State of Alabama. But foremost I am a Child of God.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast

We have a great time the 1st Saturday of every month. If you like breakfast and good fellowship with brothers in Christ, then you will want to come and be with us. It starts at 8:00am and from time to time we have a special speaker, and once a quarter we invite the women and children.

Through Harvest Partners and Helping Hands we can send money anywhere in the world and know that 100% goes to the needs of the people. We have chosen the country of India as our Harvest Partner and have worked with them since 1998 and God has blessed. We also support monthly the Spanish Ministries in Alabama, helping them to reach the Hispanic population in our communities.

We believe that the work that is put into this ministry is of the greatest value. Without the Gospel of Jesus Christ being taught to our children, what kind of a future would we have? We have a skilled staff of which we are very proud. They provide Kids' Church after worship service on Sunday morning for children 2-5 years of age, and also for those 6-12 years of age. Our Wednesday Night Service is geared totally toward teaching the children how to live life for God.

5th Sunday Night is Family Night. Life has a way of robbing us of time with our family so we invented a time where we can invite all of our family to come have food and fun in a Christian environment. We always make it a little more exciting with something like a Chili Cook-Off where the winners receive trophies, or an auction to raise money for the kids who can't afford to go to Youth Camp. Families are special at Browntown!

The Church of God of Prophecy has its own campgrounds in Green Pond, Alabama. It is super nice with a large pool, new cabins, all new recreation building, and much more. Our Camping Season starts the end of June or beginning of July. For more information, go to www.alcogop.org
